Fruit Pigmented Makeup by 100% Pure Cosmetics
I’ve been using this particular brand for years, so when 100% Pure approached me to review some of their products of course I screamed, “Yes!” I’m here to show you three awesome products, the mattifying primer, BB cream, and fruit pigmented mascara. In my own makeup regime I’ve also used their liquid eyeliner and lotion, and those are awesome too.
The first product I tested was the primer. I washed my face with a gentle cleanser and used one pump of the primer. The primer is identical to any other primer I’ve used, except this one is made with natural, kind ingredients. The primary ingredient in this primer is Aloe Leave Extract which is amazing for the skin. In fact, over the holidays I had the worst breakout I’ve had all year. I decided to use a face moisturizer by Uni Organics that has lots of aloe vera every night and each morning my skin got clearer, and clearer. Unbeknownst to me, aloe vera has some magical skincare capabilities and I’m riding it’s train. Other top ingredients in the primer include glycerin, olive oil, vitamin E, green tea extract, and seaweed collagen.
This vegan, all-natural, silicone free primer makes makeup application flawless by filling in lines with skin plumping seaweed collagen. It’s perfect for those who desire a long lasting makeup application that doesn’t shine.
Next I applied the BB cream. Since taking better care of my skin and healing my acne, I don’t need a full coverage makeup regime. Instead, this BB cream and a touch of primer do wonders. Seriously.
In fact, at my office I usually don’t wear face makeup, however I did yesterday and caught myself in the mirror and was surprised at how beautiful my skin looked. It made me feel so confident. Lol! When I said it works magic, I wasn’t kidding. I apply this cream just like any other foundation, a small drop evenly distributed on face. I used a flat faced foundation brush to buff it in and it looks flawless.
This primer is the 10 Luminous shade, which is 100% Pure’s lightest color. Although it appears dark on my swatch it spreads and covers beautifully. The formula has thousands of light reflective pigments which give skin an incandescent glow and illuminated complexion.
Fruit Pigmented Mascara
After a touch of highlight and blush, I switched to my eyes. I used the liquid eyeliner, which I’ve been obsessed with for months (the applicator tip is so fine, it’s perfect for ladies who like a sleek cat-eye). I topped it off with the fruit pigmented mascara.
First impression of the mascara was the scent. It literally smells like fruity pebbles. When 100% Pure says they’re fruit pigmented, they’re not kidding! haha. It lengthens, thickens, and glosses lashes with black tea, chocolate, and berry pigments. It also has provitamin B5, vitamin E, and oat and wheat protein to keep lashes healthy and strong.
If you’re interested in trying out 100% Pure I’d highly recommend it. I’ve been loving their products for a long time so I was really happy when they asked me if I was interested in collaborating!
If you buy any products from the links on this page, I’ll receive a small percentage too! In this way, supporting 100% Pure is like supporting Sustainable Daisy. Plus, fruit pigmented makeup is a green beauty win. Let me know what you think!
Love you guys!
