OOTD: Floral Parisian Skirt

I wish I could remember the name of the shop, but if you’re familiar with the Montmartre area, you may know exactly where I’m talking about.

Anyways, when it comes to souvenirs I wasn’t interested in knick knacks, keychains, or what have you… I saved some space in my backpack for Parisian clothes, and that’s exactly what I flew back with!

This skirt has a happy floral print that looks great with a detailed blouse or a plain v-neck t-shirt. The skirt lands a couple inches below my knee, which is usually an awkward length for me since I have shorter legs, so I rolled the top a couple inches in and threw a leather belt over my waist. I tucked in this beautiful sleeveless top with a deep blue embroidery which is very European to me, so I thought it suited my skirt well.

This skirt brings such nostalgia to me since I bought it traveling, and I like how I am the skirt’s second (or third.. or forth!) owner who has walked the streets of Paris in it. Did I mention it was only 5 euro? 😉

  1. This is gorgeous! It reminds me of a skirt I owned…and ruined because I too have short legs and thought I was good enough to shorten it myself after being fed up with just rolling it up! Never found another as lovely since 🙁
Btw, thanks for stopping by and liking my bee post!
