Hi everyone! I’ve been gone for a couple weeks moving my website to new hosting, and I’m finally back on track! If you were an previous subscriber, I’d encourage you resubscribe to catch more sustainable lifestyle tips I’ll be posting on the blog!
I’m excited to introduce you to my friend Angela, a fellow sustainable fashion blogger who has been wearing secondhand clothing for years. She’s big on swapping, which is the idea of sharing clothes with other women to find new outfits. Her blog, sustainablestylesolutions.com shows her insights on sustainable fashion and features some of her fierce fashion finds.
We’ve had fun together talking about our passion for eco-friendly fashion and decided to do a photoshoot with some of her favorite secondhand clothing. This includes this fabulous fuzzy hot pink coat that she shagged at Rare by Goodwill in Anaheim, CA.
The dress I’m wearing was bought at Give+Take boutique in Santa Monica, which Angela has been a dedicated member for years.
Together the pieces work wonderfully and I felt very glamorous strutting around downtown Santa Monica in such a beautiful, sustainable piece. This is a distinct, vintage treasure that had been owned before and is very loved now. It’s damn fashionable to be sustainable, isn’t it? 😉
If you want to see Angela’s posts and see what she’s up to, give her a follow on Instagram and check out her work!
