OOTD: Purple Floral Skirt

I bought this piece at an Orange County thrift shop for only $2! The skirt has pale-pink flowers scattered around the fabric so I paired it with a nude camisole which I think it a nice contrast to the loose, unfitted style of the skirt. I really like the pleated front which gives the skirt some visual-interest. On the back there’s a zipper and button clasp, with two deep pockets in the front. I’d say that all in all, this is a very well-made piece. For this skirt being only two bucks, I think this was a great thrift-store score! It makes me so happy when I am able to make cute outfits out of pieces that have been worn before, but are also ridiculously inexpensive. I repurposed an old candle holder by plotting in a moon cactus, which became the cutest prop. 😉

  3. Thrift finds like that are the best. Super cute skirt, and love the moon cactus! I have one as well but I never knew what it was called, it’s nice to finally know!

  5. I love this! I do have a sort of odd question though. When you wear simple camisoles or tanks that would normally show a bra strap, what types of bras do you wear? I always have trouble figuring that out when I’m shopping for tanks.

    1. I’m wearing a stapless backless bra that has adhesive on the front. I bought it at Target and I wear it all the time. If you take care of it it last a pretty long time too! I’ve convinced a lot of my friends to buy one, haha. Thanks for asking!
