Conscious Consumer Box by Change Co.
It’s no surprise I love a good subscription box. This ethical conscious consumer subscription box by Change Co. is perfect for anyone who loves to support the beautiful missions behind social enterprises. Every quarter, Change Co. send out a subscription box made with socially conscious products to inspire you to carry social consciousness wherever you go!
A Great Cause
In addition to supporting socially conscious brands, at the end of every quarter, Change Co. donates 10% of their proceeds to a different Charity. This quarter Change Co. will be making a donation to charity:water! Since 2006, charity:water has brought clean water to more than 7 million people in 24 countries! All of their donations go to water projects, which help some of the 663 million people in the world who live without clean drinking water.
Fair Trade Clutch
The first product I reviewed was this beautiful puravida colorful clutch! It was made by artisans in Costa Rica and it’s absolutely darling. I love how colorful this piece is, and the pineapples make it perfect for summer! I have a good number of fabric zip-up bags, however this one is super practical due to it’s larger size. Traveling with this guy makes makeup storage easy, and even doubles as a fun clutch to throw your sunnies and sunblock in.
Reusable Water Bottle
Next I opened the Tree Tribe reusable water bottle. This bottle is such a perfect size – not too big, and not too small. For every sale, Tree Tribe plants ten trees in your honor. The bottle is super high quality and designed to last forever. Take it from me – a reusable water bottle will change your life.
Once you start implementing a reusable water bottle into your routine, you’ll feel weird not having it with you. Using mine has helped me save loads of money (since I also have water with me), and you’ll end up diverting a lot of unnecessary waste from entering the landfill.
Marine Debris Bracelet
Next I tried on this beautiful bracelet by Planet Love Life. The piece is made from 100% marine rope debris. In honor or World Oceans Day tomorrow, this piece is extra special to me. It reminds me of the massive amounts of plastic in our oceans and inspires me to work towards a waste-less lifestyle.
By the year 2050, it’s estimated that there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Yikes! Wearing a bracelet like this is unique enough that it allows unique conversations to strike up, where you have the opportunity to talk about these issues, which also diverting a bit of plastic from the sea.
Another thing I loved about this box was that it came with a postcard! This one says ‘Be the Change,’ which you can send to a friend or keep at your desk for a friendly reminder of the power we have as a socially conscious consumer tribe.
Life Saving Granola Bar
Next I tried the ‘this bar saves lives’ granola bar! With each purchase of this bar, a life saving meal packet was provided to a malnourished child. Not only is their mission incredible, these guys really good, and really healthy too!
Earrings
Lastly I tried on these beautiful stud earrings by Badala. These earrings were made by women in Uganda to fight poverty and human trafficking.
I love the natural stone/rock detailing of the studs. Jewelry which have aspects of nature as my favorite. Tying in their social mission, these studs are beautiful for so many reasons!
this box idea is great! thanks for sharing.
Thank you for dropping by! 🙂
