Eco-friendly Makeup in Satva Box
It’s no surprise that I’m a subscription box lover. They are hands down the best, most convenient way to test several healthy, organic, green beauty products over time! It’s so fun to receive a surprise in the mail, and I’ve found these to be amazing gifts (especially if you surprise someone with one). This Satva Box has an awesome mission to help women switch to natural beauty by providing an affordable trial service. This month’s February box came with a luxurious lotion, potpourri, and eco-friendly makeup and I’m only a bit obsessed.
Since organic products have the reputation for being pricey, Satva Box offers consumers the freedom of conveniently trying out several natural cosmetic products without breaking the bank!
Water Resistant Mascara
This eco-friendly makeup mascara by Rejuva Minerals is made with organic cotton flower extract! It also has organic avocado to condition the lashes and lash roots to keep eyelashes long and strong.
This product, which is Environmental Working Group (EWG) verified, is vegan, soy free, gluten free, and non-GMO. Our eyes are such a sensitive area of our faces, so it’s fantastic to switch to a healthy green beauty option like this guy.
Pure Shea Butter
This Shea Terra Organics Shea Nilotica jar is filled with 100% pure East African shea butter. The product is certified organic with no added ingredients. This type of shea butter is rich in vitamins A & E and is killer for dry rough spots on the skin. This shea butter is also used for anti-aging and healing purposes due to it’s rich, moisturizing nature.
Vegan Lipstick
This lipstick by Rejuva Minerals comes in a shade a bit darker than I usually wear, so I was excited to see eco-friendly makeup like this in the Satva Box. I like how each month is a surprise and that the products inside may not be something you’ve tried before, or anything you would regularly buy. This allows you do try new things and really experiment with products! I’m glad I received this pretty lipstick, because I love the color!
A small amount distributed on the lips can create a naturally rosy shade. Or, you can add more product to create a vibrant stunning shade. This lipstick is super high quality with a semi matte finish. It’s packed with organic ingredients and is vegan and EWG verified.
Dried Flower Sachet
This month’s box also came with a beautiful potpourri sachet! Inside were dried rosy flower buds. I tossed this in my intimates drawer to keep my delicates floral and fragrant.
Moody Sisters Body Dusting Powder
This dusting powder by Moody Sisters is a great pick to lightly dust off an extra dewy face. I have an oily skin type and although I haven’t used a dusting or setting powder in months, I caught myself a few days ago feeling a bit insecure about how shiny my face was. I used a light dusting of the powder and the shine disappeared. Besides a super light facial application (I use a small rounded highlighter or blush brush), this powder is great to help the skin on your body feel soft and silky with a light scent. This powder is made with lavender power, rose powder, chamomile powder and essential oils which keep your body feeling fresh.
