Natural Skincare Line by Bétèrre
I’m here to introduce you to Bétèrre, a natural skincare line that is committed to using the finest ingredients nature has to offer to maintain healthy skin! This natural skincare line was first created by Gina Maisano, a two-time cancer survivor. Gina wanted to address skin problems faced by people who are being treated by cancer and other illnesses. With the research of natural ingredients and the help of physicians, Bétèrre was born.
I partnered up with them for this review on three of their products. For the past two weeks, every night I’ve washed by face with the All-in-One Facial Cleanser. After cleaning, I put 2 drops of Balancing Face Serum on my face. Lastly, I finish it off with a light rub of the Deep Moisture Repair for Face.
Night Routine
The first thing I do during my evening routine is clean my face with the All-In-One Facial Cleanser. I love this cleanser because it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and calm, not tight and dry. None of the ingredients in Bétèrre products are harsh. In fact, all ingredients they use are tested on themselves, not on animals. Products are then sent to a laboratory to test the freshness, longevity, and skin sensitivity before being put on the market. This cleanser in particular is also a great alternative to shaving cream rather than the chemically smelling creams that are commonly used.
The first thing I apply on my face after it has been cleansed is the Balancing Face Serum. This serum is perfect for combination skin that’s prone to breakouts. It has Vitamin C which brightens complexion and milk thistle which leaves skin cool and hydrated.
After the serum has been set, I like to use the Deep Moisture Repair for Face. It has a hydrating formula that has B5, peptides, and amino acids. Its main ingredients, shea butter and sunflower seed oil, soften and plump the skin. It’s perfect for skin that’s damaged, dry, or prematurely aging.
I am adopting a more minimalist lifestyle and I have not kept as many things around my bedroom and bathroom counter. However, these products are so pretty and match so well together as a trio that I purposely keep them out so I can visually enjoy them.
Helps with Dry, Stressed Skin
One of my favorite aspects of these natural skincare products is the the description on the Deep Moisture Repair. On the jar is says that it helps heal “dry, stressed skin.” Around my chin I have fine wrinkles because my skin was so stressed with cystic acne at one point. I’m learning to be kind to my skin. Using this deep moisture has helped bring my problem area to have a fresh foundation of skin. By using these products, my face looks more translucent! Instead of looking dull or lifeless, I think you can see the real, healthy me.
History with Acne
I’ve been feeling really confident at work without makeup because I can feel how pretty my skin is. As someone who has gone through accutane and acne scar removal, being able to go outside and feel beautiful without foundation is a huge stride in my journey of self love.
This product has also helped exude that feeling by doing it’s job: it hydrates, calms, and replenishes with only natural and nontoxic ingredients. Wearing all natural beauty products has helped to heal my skin. For the past 10 years until recently, I had been using harsh, stinging cleansers and acne creams. Similar to what I heard Blair of Goop exclaim once, is that I felt a ‘no pain no gain’ concept for beauty. If my cleanser was harsh and stinging I felt that is was working. How silly is that? And how beautiful is it that there are calm, kind, healing products that exude beautiful skin without causing pain or using harsh chemicals? How wonderful it is to live in the era of green beauty!
