Nontoxic Sunscreen

This awesome nontoxic sunscreen by Mann Made comes in a solid twist-up stick. This was the first time I’ve used a solid sunblock, and I really like the no mess, easy application of it. Without having sticky fingers or the risk of a sunblock tube leaking in your bag, this stick is perfect for no-mess application. According to their website, the organic unrefined coconut oil, shea butter, and lavender essential oil provides a low SPF. Also, the carrot seed essential oil provides natural sun protection and non-nano zinc oxide sets a barrier between UV rays and your skin! Since this product is all-natural, unlike many of its store-bought competitors, it’s a great nontoxic sunscreen for kids.

Bath Tablet

Another reason I look forward to my monthly Terra Bella Box is that they usually have bath bombs! This Summer Solstice bath tablet is made of ground sea salts and fragrance  offering an aroma-therapeutic experience. The tablet has scents of ginger and citrus with no drying foaming agents added.

Dusting Powder

Next, I tried the River’s Bend Botanicals Peppermint Dusting Powder. This powder is a great product for those who want to feel fresh and dry on hot muggy days. The power absorbs perspiration and leaves a minty-clean scent behind. I’ve discovered in recent news that talcum powder may be linked in ovarian cancer. As a regular talc power user in the past, this understandably made me feel uneasy. Fortunately, River’s Bend Botanicals shares this concern and makes their products with a cornstarch base so you can toss the talc and adopt a more all-natural alternative.

Face Serum

This month I also tried another recognizable product by Dermadeli! Like in my previous post, I love this company’s serum. A big fan of their pumpkin serum, this Vitamin C Serum doesn’t disappoint. This serum helps repair the skin’s sun damage, reduces the look of wrinkles, and improve the skin’s elasticity. The serum is freshly made to order and is recommended to be used after cleansing.

Finishing Powder

Finally, this month’s box also came with a tin of Brightening Mineral Veil powder. This finishing powder is applied with a brush to brighten skin and even out complexion. Its main ingredient, arrowroot powder, is gentle on the skin and is a gluten and chemical-free, as opposed to most setting powder. Besides arrowroot powder, the ginger powder helps perk up the skin and the orange oil brightens your face. Plus, it smells yummy too!
